Mortgage and Protection Consultant

My career in finance started with Portman Building Society, who then merged with Nationwide, at this point I was head hunted by my manager from Portman Building Society to Countrywide, working in Southampton. Then going on to work for Lloyds tsb and finally to Oakwood.

I worked for Oakwood Independent Mortgage Consultants for almost four years, helping customers to achieve their dreams, in a tight knit environment, where customers matter and we are able to look at the whole market place for the best product to suit customer and their personal circumstances, not fitting them to an unsuitable product, this was very important to me and my beliefs.

For a short time, approximately one year, I went to HSBC, but returned to Oakwood May of 2016 due to realising I had made a mistake. Being able to help customers, having flexibility and helping as many customers as possible to achieve their goals was important, together with my work ethos not to treat people as tick box exercises.

Customers are really important to my work ethics. I felt restricted in HSBC with only one lender products, here I can provide a solution to most customers.

My family support and help me to be able to achieve my life ambitions. I am proud of both my Girls going to university, and now working in our community to help others. Without their support I could not Dedicate the time and effort I do. People matter.
