Protection Specialist Adviser

I spent my early 20’s working abroad in Spain and travelling Australia and Asia, then I spent 6 years in hospitality management. I came to the south for a job opportunity (and a girl) and I am now staying here as I have made a new one (Penny my daughter).

Since then I worked 2 years at Natwest as a senior personal banker helping with financial reviews, arranging loans, advising on account types and saving investments.

Then I worked as a Sales Executive at Ford motor company.

I missed the Mortgage and insurance industry and came back to it and spent 2 years at Countrywide as a Mortgage and protection consultant. Cemap qualified and I was their top consultant for the south in 2019.

I enjoyed the insurance part of my work and wanted to specialise in this area with an Independent company. I knew of Oakwood and after speaking to Russell I wanted to join Oakwood as Russell sold it to me! It offered a great opportunity to make a difference in the recently reformed Protection /Insurance department and to work with great colleagues and develop my personal skills to a higher level. I feel much more part of a team and valued member already.

I try and stay active – bike riding, golf and football and support the best team in the land and all the world – Man City. I Enjoy cooking and travelling to new places.
